How it works
The Journey
A calm, guided way to get to know your own mind — one small step at a time. There's nothing to complete, no test to pass, and nothing to prove. Each day you choose how far you'd like to go.
A first principle, held throughout: finding no change is a completely normal and valid outcome. Nothing you notice — or don't — reflects your effort or your worth.
Choose your depth each day
Two minutes, or twenty.
A quick check-in
About two minutes — a short noticing when that's all the day allows.
The practice
About eight to ten minutes — the full, gentle guided session.
Go deeper
About fifteen to twenty minutes — the practice, plus a real-world try and a longer reflection.
A lighter day is not a lesser day. You can change your depth, your route, or your mind at any time — there's nothing to fall behind on.
Everyone starts here
Foundations
A calm warm-up: a handful of short sessions for settling in, finding language for your own experience, and learning a low-pressure way of noticing. You'll try describing something familiar in whatever form shows up for you — a picture, a sense of space, words, a feeling, a sound, or nothing in particular — and see which channels feel reliable. The aim isn't to arrive anywhere. It's to get comfortable, on your own terms.
The eight pathways
After Foundations, you choose where to go next. These are routes, not tracks — add one, swap one, or change your mind at any point without losing anything.
Exploring voluntary imagery
The primary pathway, and the most gentle.
Small, unhurried experiments with visual imagery — bringing a neutral object to mind, noticing what's present, letting it go. Whether anything visual arrives is uncertain and never promised; the honest offer is the noticing itself. If an attempt feels effortful, a soft “try a different doorway” branch is always within reach. “Not today” is a complete answer.
Memory & recall
Practical ways to remember — grouping things into words, making external cues, setting a simple recall plan — none of which rely on picturing anything. A small, usable toolkit chosen by what actually works for you.
Communication & thriving
Find your own words for your inner experience, and decide what, if anything, you'd like to share. Nothing here asks you to disclose anything; keeping it private is always valid.
Planning & future thinking
Plan a real, upcoming action through concrete cues rather than picturing success — plain-words outcomes, simple “when X, I'll do Y” bridges, and one likely obstacle and a response.
Creativity without visualization
Ideas can arrive as language, sound, movement, or observation — not only as pictures. Generate from a neutral word, gather real sensory facts, or shift a single constraint. Creativity was never about seeing pictures.
Reading & narrative
Other ways into a story that don't depend on a movie-like inner scene — separating fact from felt response, mapping who's where and what changed, making a prediction to stay engaged.
Emotional reflection
The pathway closest to tender feeling — with extra room to pause.
Naming present-moment experience without any forced visual recall. Everything moves slowly, off-ramps are everywhere, and you can stop the moment it stops feeling right.
A place to return to
Practice
Where the Journey is an arc, Practice is a room you can come back to for as long as you like. It never “completes.”
Daily door
One small, optional prompt whenever you open the app. Skip it freely.
Explorations
Themed, self-guided experiments to dip into when you're curious.
Labs
Small experiments you set for yourself and repeat as you like.
Steady yourself
Short resets to ground and settle — never scored, always optional.
Your evolving map
A private, personal record of what you've noticed over time. Yours to keep, export, or delete.
Start wherever you like.
This is a suggestion, not a schedule. There's no order to get right and nothing is locked.
